TRAINING COMPANY
Ashford as a training company
Ashford at Landgoed Huis de Voorst was involved in setting up the International Butler Academy. The curriculum consisted of a broad knowledge in terms of etiquette, culinary experiences and developing a broad foundation of knowledge in hospitality, without losing sight of the human aspects & needs. Stimulating awareness & thinking outside the box are the key words. Looking from a human perspective in a fast-paced world.
"Looking/thinking in possibilities & not in limitations" is our motto on which we build our corporate culture.
Our staff, apprentices & trainees are fully trained & supervised in their work by Ashford's management team. Due to the small scale of the business, this gives us the opportunity to have our apprentices & trainees gain experience in almost all areas of the business - from service, kitchen, marketing, sales, administration, facilities & purchasing to housekeeping. Commitment, individual strength & enthusiasm are encouraged in order to provide a sincere, quality & warm service. Each employee is encouraged to make the most of his/her potential. As a result, all employees are employable everywhere & have experienced all facets of the service themselves. This not only helps them get to know our service level from A to Z, but also gives them a chance to build skills that will support them in all aspects of life, not just their studies.
We have years of experience at national & international 5 & 6 star level. From hotel-, restaurant-, brand- and entertainment management to culinary craftsmanship, as well as sales, marketing & events. In recent years, the management team has been named "Masters of Excellence" by the Masters of Luxury. The management team was honoured for excellence in performance by two of the largest fortune 500 hospitality companies in the world - MGM Resorts International & Wynn Resorts International.
Landgoed Huis de Voorst offers a working environment that is equal to everyone. By offering a mix of diverse backgrounds, cultures & languages, we are able to welcome a broad public. Because of this healthy mix, every guest is facilitated in his/her needs.
Exclusivity, emotion & style - combined with cosiness & a personal approach. Get away from it all & enjoy pure pleasure.
Purpose of training
At Landgoed Huis de Voorst, we have a passion for the hospitality industry, for entrepreneurship, for innovation, for thinking outside the box & for giving driven people the tools in the hospitality industry, as well as economic insight & a perspective in this industry.
Developing knowledge, guiding talents, stable labour market, guiding and retaining potential candidates within the organisation. We also learn a lot from our students & trainees, the new generations, the trends, needs & value propositions that keep us not only relevant in the market but also ahead in many.
